Have you ever thought there must be an easier way to ice fish? I had the same thought after hand pulling all of our gear out due to sketchy ice conditions a couple of years ago. That was when I first had the idea for a tracked vehicle designed specifically for ice fishing. I have built other tracked vehicles for other purposes so I used that experience and set out to create an amphibious version with in-floor fishing hatches.
As an engineer, it was important to me to design a safe, reliable vehicle that helps you enjoy your time out on the ice. After two years of development and testing, what you see in these pictures is the final version of the Ultimate Outdoor Vehicle. I designed it with safety as a top priority and also added features for ease and comfort on the ice. You can drive on the ice with the top up, open the hatches and drill through the floor when you find your perfect spot, and drop a line in through the hatches. Last weekend out on the ice, we had our lines in the water less than 6 minutes after we stopped.
Miller Design & Manufacturing, LLC is a full design and manufacturing company and was founded by me, Kent Miller. I have over 20 years of engineering, new product development, and manufacturing experience. I built my first tracked vehicle over 13 years ago and after building a custom all terrain tracked vehicle as a custom order from a client, I decided to apply what I used in that build to a commercial vehicle that can be used for ice fishing, summer fishing, and waterfowl hunting.
